Phones

The glasses get their picture through the phone's USB-C port, so the phone must send video over USB-C (DisplayPort Alt Mode).

iPhoneAndroid
  • iPhone: every iPhone with USB-C (iPhone 15 and newer) does. iPhones with a Lightning port can't, with any cable or adapter.
  • Android: many phones do, but not all, often not the cheaper models. To check yours, plug in the glasses without MiruXR: if they show a copy of your phone screen, it works.

Screen: the glasses show MiruXR. Head tracking: MiruXR follows your head. On iPhone, some glasses work as a screen only. See Supported glasses.

Is your phone missing, or does something work differently for you? Send a diagnostic report from the app. It takes a minute:

  1. Plug in the glasses.
  2. On the phone, open Settings > Support > Diagnostics.
  3. Tap Run full diagnostics, then Send to support.

The report says which phone and glasses you have and whether head tracking works, and that is what this list is made from. If something else failed, see Report a problem.
