Glasses not detected
If you plug in the glasses and nothing happens, go through these checks in order. Most of the time it's the phone's port, the cable or a permission.
iPhoneAndroid1. Check that your phone sends video over USB-C
Section titled "1. Check that your phone sends video over USB-C"The phone's USB-C port must send video (DisplayPort Alt Mode). To test it, close MiruXR and plug in the glasses. If they show a copy of the phone screen, the port sends video. If they stay black, the phone can't send video to them. See Phones.
You need an iPhone 15 or newer. iPhones with a Lightning port can't send video to the glasses, with any adapter.
2. Check the cable and the plug
Section titled "2. Check the cable and the plug"- Use the cable that came with your glasses.
- Plug the glasses straight into the phone, without a hub or adapter.
- Push both ends all the way in. Try flipping the USB-C plug over at the phone end.
3. Allow the glasses on Android Android
Section titled "3. Allow the glasses on Android "When you plug in the glasses, Android asks if MiruXR can use them. If you said no, the glasses ask you to check your phone.
- Unplug the glasses and plug them in again.
- Allow it, and check the box to always use MiruXR with them.
4. Turn off Samsung DeX Android
Section titled "4. Turn off Samsung DeX "DeX takes over the glasses' display. If MiruXR shows Turn off Samsung DeX, swipe down from the top of the phone screen and tap DeX to turn it off. See Samsung phones.
5. Open MiruXR again
